About Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga
Trimbakeshwar is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and is distinctive for its three-faced (Trideva) lingam, symbolising Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. The present black-stone temple, in the Nagara style, was rebuilt in the 18th century by Peshwa Balaji Bajirao (Nanasaheb).
